HR&SS is an innovative, dynamic, not-for-profit service working to enable people with disabilities to participate in the greatest range of life choices, as active community members.

With more than 25 years' experience supporting people with disabilities to determine and chase their own dreams, HR&SS is unique in that it was originally established by a group of people with disabilities to enable themselves, and others, to transition from institutions to independent living. HR&SS continues to be governed by a Board of people with disabilities and, as the barriers to independence and participation in society change, we develop and provide flexible support services aimed at meeting these changing needs. 

HR&SS acknowledges the Wurundjeri clan of the Kulin Nation who are the custodians of the land this region covers.  We pay our respects to them, their culture and their Elders past, present and future and uphold their relationship to this land.
