Volunteer with HR&SS

Are you between 16 and 24 years old?

Do you have a disability?

Would you like to be involved in an exciting new multi-media project?

If you answered yes to all 3 questions – we want you!

HR&SS is getting ready to launch an exciting new website and Facebook community aimed at helping young people with disabilities to have the information they need to live independently.

Whether it is how to get around on public transport, how to grow an herb garden or how to change a light bulb – you’ll be able to find the answer on My Amazing Life. And for any question you can’t find the answer to, you’ll be able to ask someone else who has been in the same situation.

But first – we need your help! We need an army of multi-media producers (we can teach you the basics) to create

• videos

• podcasts

• animations

• graphics

• help sheets and

• other tools

Or if you are into Facebook, we need administrators and moderators to manage the My Amazing Life group.

We will provide training for all participants and a certificate of participation to honour your contribution. The best contributors will also receive a gift voucher valued at $50.
